My Family
My family is very important to me and I feel so incredibly lucky to have such a loving and close extended family. My parents are great role models and devoted grandparents. We visit one another often and are very involved in each other’s lives.
As kids, my sisters and I spent a lot of time with our cousins. As adults, we remain very close and spend holidays and vacations together. My family is so excited about my decision to adopt and is eagerly waiting to welcome the newest member of our family!
I live within walking distance of both my sister Jill, and cousin David. I'm often with Jill, her partner Susan, and my nephew Eli. I taking Eli to the park or the beach, and to exciting places he's never been. Every Sunday night we enjoy a family dinner together, often with David and his girlfriend.
My friends are part of my family and I spend a lot of time with them and their children, playing in the park, taking day trips, and just hanging out and having fun. I’ve become the “favorite aunt” and the kids always ask to sleep over at my house. I’m very excited about having a child to share my love and life experiences with.
Everyone knows how long I’ve wanted to be a mom and are all very happy for me. With lots of godchildren and nieces and nephews, I’ve had plenty of practice!
